Timeleft is a social dining app designed to transform an ordinary night out into a memorable experience. Every week, we bring together small groups of strangers and seat them at partner restaurants for a shared meal. Our app curates groups of about six diners and pairs them with a local restaurant partner. Guests come ready to meet new people, while restaurants provide the backdrop that makes these evenings both comfortable and enjoyable.
How It Works
From a restaurant’s perspective, the process is simple:
- Guests Sign Up in the App: Diners complete a short personality questionnaire and choose their preferred price tier and neighborhood. These details help us build well-balanced groups that are likely to enjoy one another’s company.
- Timeleft Matches Groups: Each week, we curate small groups (typically six guests) and match them with one of our partner restaurants. The matching is based on compatibility factors but never on sensitive categories like nationality or profession.
- Details Are Revealed: Guests receive their restaurant and group information the day before dinner. This keeps the experience exciting and helps prevent last-minute changes or confusion.
- The Dinner Experience: Diners arrive at your restaurant, are seated together, and enjoy a paced meal that allows time for introductions and conversation. Many groups use optional icebreaker prompts provided by the app.
- After the Meal: Guests leave reviews and feedback through the app. Many stay connected afterward, meeting again at future Timeleft dinners or through the app itself.
